Other Committee · Meeting of October 1, 2026
Revere Human Rights Commission chair Shama Hosseini resigns after six years; no quorum for a vote. Executive Director Steve Morabito announced the departure, telling viewers Hosseini "has served the human rights commission since 2020." Members offered tributes in place of business, with Vice Chair Herbie Baptiste recalling that Hosseini "put a lot of time, made a lot of sacrifice" to attend, noting she doesn't drive and takes the bus to meetings. No votes were taken.
